From March 7-10, 2018, the Richard Mille Brunei Championships (RMBC) as part of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) was held at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. Butra HeidelbergCement (BHC) Sdn Bhd was one of the main sponsors of the Championship tournament.
Prior to the Championship Tournament, a sponsorship signing ceremony was held on February 23rd, 2018, at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. Witnessing the signing was Datin Paduka Dr Hajah Norlila binti Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Jalil, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Signing on behalf of BHC Sdn Bhd, were Clement Lai, the Sales Manager of the Company, and Umillah Razak, the Marketing officer. Chairman of the organising committee of RMBC Haji Mohd Junaidi bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Abdul Rahman and Shabul Mashor bin Haji Junaidi, the deputy chairman, signed on behalf of the organising committee
The Final Championship Tournament and the prize presentation ceremony was held on March 10th, 2018 at The Empire Hotel & Country Club. His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and cabinet ministers were amongst those in attendance of the Final Championship Tournament and the prize presentation ceremony. Marcelino Ugarte, the Managing Director of BHC Sdn Bhd was also in attendance representing the Company as one of the main sponsors of the tournament.
The Richard Mille Brunei Championships is the third stop on the 2018 ADT season. BHC Sdn Bhd is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the championships as it offered an opportunity for Bruneian golfers to play against the talented field and allowed the promotion of the country as a premium golfing destination. |
