The third day of the tournament taking place at the Empire Hotel and Country Club Golf Course in Jerudong saw Wang Wei Lun from Taiwan climbing to third place with 64 strokes, 6 under par. He has now collected 198 strokes, 12 under Par overall.

In second place is Prom Meesawat from Thailand when he recorded the lowest score with 62 strokes, 8 under par.

Polthai who led in the second day continued to dominate the tournament with 63 strokes, 7 under par. He is now in the top overall ranking with 192 strokes, 18 under par. With an advantage of 4 strokes, Polthai is now closer to gaining the title.

Meanwhile, Brunei Darussalam's sole golfer who qualified to the third round, Mohd Qawiem Fakhri Hj Aslimon also played well with 70 strokes, equal to par. He is now on 37th place sharing the position with 5 other golfers, each collecting 210 strokes, equal to par.
