Opening of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Bridge

On the 14th October 2017, in commemoration of the 50th Golden Jubilee of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the country ushered in a new development milestone with the opening and unveiling of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAS) Bridge.

Built completely with Brunei Cement, the RIPAS bridge dominates the skyline over Kampong Ayer and connects commuters from Bandar Seri Begawan to the Lumpas areas.

In conjunction with the opening, tens of thousands of people were also treated to a display of fireworks and the colourful procession of floats.

Butra HeidelbergCement Sdn Bhd was also a proud participant of the Float Procession.
